Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after comparing.

FIX API is there for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should round things out once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
